Film Distribution Fund: 2023 Call and Guidelines
Fondi Internazionalizzazione: the Call and new Guidelines for the 2023 Film Distribution Fund have been published, featuring important changes compared to 2022.
The annual fund for the Call has almost doubled, allocating a total of 2.1 million euros, divided into three evaluation sessions of € 700,000 each. Support for Internet distribution has been added (up to €15,000) to the Theatrical distribution of Italian works outside national borders, and the maximum contribution of the latter has increased from €30,000 to €50,000. Among other innovations, support for Italian minority co-productions is also available.
Grant requests must be submitted as per the Call and the following deadlines:
- 1st session: by 30 June 2023
- 2nd session: by 30 September 2023
- 3rd session: by 31 December 2023

A rich Italian Cinema program opens the autumn season of the prestigious Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, designed by Renzo Piano, thanks to the exclusive collaboration - renewed again this year - between CINECITTÀ and the ACADEMY, the most important film institution worldwide.

Cinecittà treads alongside and within the Festival with documentaries and restorations, productions shot in its stages, through MIAC - the Audiovisual and Cinema Museum.
Cinecittà has once again become fully competitive and appealing for domestic and international production companies.
Once again this year, the pavilion is the central pole of the Italian audiovisual industry at Venice, hosting a packed calendar of conferences, presentations, awarding events, debates, round tables, and one-to-one meetings from August 30 to September 8.
Pino Settanni (1949-2010) was one of the most original, lively and eclectic contemporary master photographers. An artist who in recent years has been increasingly rediscovered through exhibitions and publications after the acquisition by the Luce Archive of his entire photographic collection, made up of over 60,000 images.
