A group of young people, adults and elderly persons attend a first-aid course organized by a voluntary association. The partecipant share feeling of friendship, love, appreciation and kidness, but they are also involved in problems, misanderstandings and incidents which are magnified when they go on their first mission. Pierluigi and Sonia are robbed of the ambulance; Rosa tries to turn a tramp into a bourgeois; Alessandro is charged with theft.
