The Italian Pavilion at 75. Berlinale is open
From February 13 to 19, the Italian Pavilion opens once again at a major European festival as the business and professional space managed by Cinecittà

The 75th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival is underway, and as at all the most prestigious European film events, the Italian Pavilion is ready to throw open its doors: this professional, cultural, business and market meeting space is once again to be the Italian audiovisual house for the entire period of the event.
Thanks to a renewed collaboration between Cinecittà, the Directorate-General for Cinema and Audiovisual of the Ministry of Culture (DGCA-MiC), ICE – the Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies – and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), the Italian Pavilion will be located at stand 03-C6 of the Gropius Bau, headquarters of the European Film Market from February 13 to 19. The Pavilion’s multifunctional space is designed, set up and managed by Cinecittà.
This physical and virtual space put at disposal of the industry’s professionals is a business card for our productions to reach out to international delegations, and a crossroads for cultural and production exchanges. A window open to all film professionals and enthusiasts not only at the Festival but also at home through the www.italianpavilion.it website, the Pavilion’s digital interface is also included on the EFM platform, detailing information of the incentives offered by Sistema Italia to international operators.
Among its internationalization activities, the DGCA, together with the organizational support of Cinecittà, once again takes part in the Visitors Program of the Co-production Market, a section dedicated to producers who wish to open up to international co-productions, allowing them access to information sessions, pitches, panels, and networking platforms.
The Pavilion spaces will also host business meetings for producers, buyers and sellers, networking moments organized by the DGCA-MiC Special Projects Office of Cinecittà. Among the consolidated partners that take turns in defining new initiatives are some of the leading global players, such as the British Film Institute, Unifrance, VIPO, Unijapan, Kofic, CCIDAHK, and representatives of the South American film industries.
