Italy Offers Everything You Need
Discover the updated guide to shooting in Italy

The Directorate-General for Cinema and Audiovisual (DGCA) of the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with Italy for Movies, Cinecittà and Italian Pavilion, has updated the ITALY OFFERS EVERYTHING YOU NEED guide, launched last year, for the 2025 European Film Market (EFM).
The English-language guide is aimed at non-domestic film and audiovisual operators and contains key information for shooting a work in Italy alone or in co-production with an Italian producer, including an outline of the available incentives and tax breaks.
These include the advantages for co-productions, the “foreign” tax credit, and information for minority Italian co-productions whose annual call for tenders has a budget of € 6 million.
It also lists those countries which have current co-production agreements with Italy (works can be produced in co-participation with nations without agreements) and the bilateral co-development funds with Portugal, Tunisia and the Baltic States and the co-development and co-production fund with France.
Two sections are dedicated to the incentives managed by the Regions and/or Film Commissions and the Film Distribution Fund which supports the global distribution of Italian films.
The guide also contains useful links and a brief presentation of the DGCA.
