Alexis is one of the promises of the Cuban National Ballet. Every day of his life he practices chassé and entrechats with his girlfriend and partner in the Yelenia dance. When his family moves to Florida, he will have to revise his dreams and aspirations, in a radically new context. He feels lonely, nostalgic, lost, and trying to remain himself he will have to find his new way in the bourgeois and elitist world of American Ballet.
