Five former pilots lead us in a journey through the history of the Royal Italian Air Force during the II World War in order to reveal their background, their airplanes and to compare the flying machines to those used by the German Allies and by the enemies in an exciting digression of hydroplanes, fighters, bombers and the best pilots that have ever fought in 5 countries. They talk about their training, their war strategies and about the life they used to live in the narrow space of their planes during their combat operations when surviving depended on their own personal ability but especially on the experience or inexperience of the enemy.
