In July 1, 1933, twenty-five seaplanes take off from Orbetello flyingboat station heading for New York. Main characters of this event are «the Atlantics», one hundred eleven exceptional men under Marshal Italo Balbo?s command. The film tells minute by minute all tensions, the joy and the final triumph that those men live while they fly over Europe, North Sea and Greenland, always in perfect formation.
