As a song of struggle and resistance it has been recovered in the last quarter of a century by dozens of protest realities, from the Arab Spring to the protests #occupy the USA and #occupy Mumbai, from the struggle to globalization to the fight against climate change, from the funerals of Charles Hebdo’s cartoonists to the uprisings in Sudan and the street movements in Lebanon, Chile, Turkey. But it has also become a typical phenomenon of globalization: symbolic song of the series Paper House, jingles to sell a product in Mexico, music to promote Netflix in Saudi Arabia.
