David Lamda has been placed in a mental institution for irrecoverable unsociability. The diagnoses of the doctors are all identical, save that of the skeptical Director. He is obviously convinced that every living being is curable: it?s only a matter of time and the right tools. The protagonist escapes reality through his imagination, living in the decrepit Power fortress where, persecuted and despised in every way, he is witness to the classic, social mechanism game. A seemingly dominant old man is referred to as “Boss”. At his side a satanic Vice President and a Woman manipulate everything; just below them the social climbers slowly but surely emerge, followed by the corrupt, servile and materialistic plebeians at the bottom. A prophet appears, but his message of hope seems to quickly turn into a tragic ruse. Reawakening in the asylum, David perplexedly assists in the procession of war machines.
