Guided tours of Ancient Rome
The permanent set of Ancient Rome can be visited every weekend of September and October 2024. Cinecittà Shows Off continues to offer visitors the opportunity to visit the set built in 2004 for the TV series Rome and later used for other important international and domestic productions.
The area of the Forum, symbol of Republican and Imperial Rome, offers the chance to admire some of the key buildings in political, civic and religious life in Ancient Rome including the Basilica Julia, Curia, the Republican Rostra, the Temple of Venus.
Discover the design and artisanal work that goes into the making of a set and experience the elements of cinema fiction first hand with a guided tour of the set, available only with a guide from the Educational Department.
