EBITDA in growth, industrial revenues +20%

The Board of Directors of Cinecittà S.p.A. has examined and unanimously approved the 2023 annual report, which shows a yearly net profit of 1.3 million euros and a positive result prior to taxation of 1.8 million euros. The Company is again profitable for the second consecutive year, also achieving net equity consolidation and an increase of the initial share capital.

The EBITDA, equivalent to 3 million euros, confirms the efficiency of the operational management, exceeding the already positive figure of the 2022 annual report. The turnover recorded by the individual industrial areas is as follows: Soundstages, Scenography, and Events departments, 40.4 million euros, 21.7 million of which relate to the Art Department and Set Construction; Post-Production, 3.1 million euros; ‘Cinecittà Shows Off, 823 thousand euros; and other revenues, 2.6 million euros.

The progress of the Recovery Plan Project is currently in line with the European and national targets, and all the activities necessary to achieve the last European objective, set for 30 June 2026, have been launched. By June 2023, the 9 European tenders linked to the 5 new stages and the 4 to be renovated were assigned within the timescales set by the European Commission. An important result has already been achieved: the first stage (number 7) has been completed and is about to host the first productions.
