Rome, the Esquilino quarter, summertime. Rossella comes back to Rome after years of absence, returning to her old house currently rented out to her set designer friend Salvatore. The woman falls into a noticeable bout with depression, wandering around a city that she no longer recognizes and that fails to recognize her. The people have changed and Rossella is unable to find anyone capable of answering the obsessive question that has been plaguing her for quite some time: “How do I disappear?”
