Andrea is fifteen and lives in a small town in Emilia Romagna. He lives a tranquil existence, until he begins to wonder where the buses go when they leave the town’s bus station. Then, one day, Andrea discovers that his sister, Stefania, who is just slightly older than him, is planning to elope with her boyfriend. He is shocked at how she is organizing her own life behind his back, without seeming to care about what will become of him. He did not expect this to happen. He realises that it is time for everyone to think about themselves and he does not have a moment to waste. He must find a girlfriend and convice her to run away with him, before his sister does the same.
